Should Beepers Be Banned

I believe beepers should be banned. Many students who carry beepers get many troubles in their classes and school. I think that there are many disadvantages of carrying a beeper to school. If beepers are banned, I think there would be more advantages than disadvantages. Therefore, I think beepers should be banned.

First of all, I believe beepers should be banned because banning beepers can make schools safer by reducing the drug and gang problems. Some students carry beepers because their parents want to be able to reach their children easily in an emergency, if beepers are banned, they could also reach their children in an emergency by calling the school office. If beepers were banned, students would reduce interactions and distractions from the people outside the school during school times. Some people carry beepers because beepers are mainstreams now, but if beepers are banned, they could also carry other mainstream and stylish stuff that is advantageous and lawful instead of carrying a beeper. Some students simply set their pagers on vibrating mode to avoid classroom interruptions, but it would still makes the student distracted from learning. If beepers were banned, students would save money on their beepers, battery and monthly fee of the beepers. If you have a beeper, it would make your pants heavier when you carry it. Therefore, I think beepers should be banned.

I believe beepers should be banned because there are many problems cause by beepers and there are many disadvantages of carrying a beeper. Even though I think there are many disadvantages of carrying a beeper, there are still advantages. No matter whether you agree or disagree that beepers should be banned, I think people still have the rights to carry a beeper to school even though it harms or helps the students.
