SUMMARY: The poem is talking about what are important things to the author. The author mentioned the least important to the most important things. When the author has all of the important things, the author would experiences to have the shining joy and jewel of all his/her kingdom.

PERSONAL RESPONSE: I think the author trying to tell us that the closest things are most important. The futherest things are least important. I think the author’s kingdom is the woman, therefore, I think the author’s most important thing is his wife. Also, I think this poem is very stranger because the way how the author wrote it.
