My name is Yong Jinn He. I am a student in Murray Bertram High School. This is my sophomore year. I’m an ESL8 student in Ms. Huck’s class. I’m 15 years old. I have been in the U.S. for five years and a half. I came to the U.S. in 1994, my parents came here with me because they want me to have more education. My native country is China. Sometimes I become wild, quiet or lazy. It depends on how I’m feeling. I’m happy because sometimes I think about happy stuff. Sometimes, I feel sad, too, because I’m afraid I will fail my classes or my tests. My hobbies are to sit at the bed and watch TV or play video games. I like to read history books and comic books. My favorite hobbies are to collect stamps, coins, and cartoon cards. These are my hobbies and myself.

I have many goals for this semester. For example, I want to get 21 credits this semester, want to get and average of 85 up on my report card, and make the teachers satisfied about my work. I would accomplish my goals by spending more hours on homework, read more books about English, communicate in English, go more often to the library, and watch news every night. When I graduated from High School, I don’t know whether I would go to college or work. It depends on my grades.
